Conscious Cap Corp (CCC) is a nonprofit based in Columbus, Ohio, dedicated to erasing the illusion of waste. We believe nothing on this Earth is useless—everything is interconnected, everything has value. Our mission is to help businesses and individuals recover materials, protect the land, and remember our unity with
A Caplette is someone who embraces their deep connection with the Earth and chooses to act with love for her.
The name comes from nature itself:
Fungi grow through underground networks called mycelium, creating tiny caps (mushrooms 🍄) that connect life and recycle death into life again. Without fungi—and other recyclers—our planet wouldn’t have the cycle of renewal that makes life possible.
Just like mushrooms, Caplettes are part of this interconnected web of life. We see value where others see waste, and we help return it back to the cycle.
Earth’s own caps. Little beings that transform, connect, and give back.
Dulche brings creativity and vision to our digital presence. With a background in industrial design, she turns ideas into clean, inspiring experiences for visitors.
Arjun is the hands and heart behind our collections. His dedication keeps the recycling routes flowing smoothly and reminds us that service is love in action.
We remember us ∥ We remember we are inside the Earth as our cells are inside us ∥ We understand mutual benefit and diversity equals abundance on Earth ∥ We know we all have a role to play as it is all connected ∥ We trust our inner power as a fundamental part of existence ∥ We are the light in our communities ∥ We cocreate a new believe ∥ We have a new story to tell ∥ We evolve the small mind to a collective mind ∥ We belief we are part of the sup of the Earth ∥ We act from a space of connection ∥ We create the Conscious Cap effect.
I once thought my dream was to become a researcher. I was never afraid to dream BIG and train my mind to reach my goals. But along the way, I realized that wasn’t what I truly wanted.
My deepest dream is to erase the illusion that anything on this Earth can lose its value. Nothing is useless! Everything is interconnected in ways we can hardly imagine.
As a child, this was my truth, but I forgot. Today, I see the world again through the eyes of a little girl enchanted by the beauty and complexity of the ecosystems we belong to.
We are one with the Earth, and she is waiting for us with open arms to recognize her for what she truly is: our mother, our beautiful mother.
Mayra GC.
Mayra reconnected with her unity with the Earth, starting by recycling and composting at home. She invited family and friends to join and realized that waste is everywhere. The true problem wasn’t trash, but our disconnection from nature.
After graduating from OSU, Mayra founded CCC. She experimented with many ways to recover waste. She found alignment when two bar owners—Jessica from Cazuelas and Anne from The Crescent Lounge—stepped forward, dreaming of reducing their glass waste.
Glass was separated and measured at Cazuelas and Crescent for a period of one year. Cazuelas recovered ~592 lb/month, Crescent ~164 lb/month. Together, they reached 3 tons of clean glass in one year.
The vision evolved: a reliable service for bars and restaurants to recover recyclable materials and see the results in real-time. By the end of 2024, CCC had recovered 9 tons of glass from just two businesses, saving 6 tons of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere.
