Our Story
I’m Mayra, the founder of Conscious Cap Corp (CCC), established in 2021 to fulfill my dream of reconnecting us with Earth and eliminating the illusion of waste. I started at home, helping Columbus’s service industry see its waste as a valuable asset through recycling.
We began by collecting glass bottles from local bars, recovering 7.5 tons in just 1.5 years—surpassing our initial goal of 3 tons. And that was from just two local bars; imagine what we can achieve with your support!
Why We Need You
Each year, around 1 million pounds of glass from Columbus’s bars and restaurants end up in landfills. We need your help to recover these valuable materials, create jobs, and protect our planet. Our next goal is to inspire 100 bars and restaurants in Columbus, OH, to recycle within the following year. As a growing nonprofit, we seek to raise $50,000 in the next six months to:
- Acquire eco-conscious transportation for recyclable collection.
- Cover operating costs to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Expand our reach through innovative marketing.
